A black-and-white darkroom in the basement

of my childhood home is where I first fell in love with photography. I make my living now as a graphic designer, but when I have time, I return to my camera and hit the road. A few years ago, I moved to the beautiful state of North Carolina where everything is new (to me). I have a growing collection of photos from the cities and

towns around the state that I have visited. And when I can, I record those experiences on my blog, Kelley-In-Carolina. Cityscapes are not my only love, however. I love shooting every day objects in new ways. Stock photography is a wonderful outlet for me as I can experiment with light

and composition. It also challenges me to see beyond the obvious. I mean
how many ways has a red onion already been shot?
